Un homenaje que remeda todas las caracter�sticas no s�lo de esa producci�n sensacionalista, desprolija, efectista, poco coherente y generalmente menospreciada sino tambi�n de las condiciones que rodeaban su proyecci�n en salas -puro pochoclo y testosterona- cuyos equipos al borde de la jubilaci�n contribu�an al deterioro y la destrucci�n de copias ya maltrechas. Con su formaci�n cin�fila de videoclub, su pasi�n por los g�neros populares, su ir�nica mezcla de humor y violencia y sus referencias a la cultura pop y el cine, Tarantino ten�a m�s autoridad que nadie para abordar la aventura (en realidad, un programa doble que comparti� con Robert Rodr�guez y que finalmente fue dividido para su distribuci�n), y darse el gusto de concebir su propio ejemplar clase Z sin perder de vista cl�sicos como Carrera contra el destino (Richard Sarafian, 1971) o La fuga del loco y la sucia (John Hough, 1974), ni renunciar a sus rasgos personales.
